Portland Real Estate Market Update

Demand for housing is still very strong despite the recent weakness. Younger Millennials are the largest group of home buyers in history and the vast majority of them have not purchased a home yet. Demand from buyers between the ages of 25-35 will likely drive home prices upwards again in 2022 but it is too soon to predict whether we will see the double digit appreciation that happened this year.
