Oregon City, Oregon is a city located on the eastside of the Portland Metro area and is south of Downtown Portland. It is bordered by the Willamette River to the west, the Clackamas River and Gladstone to the north, Beavercreek to the west and Canby to the south.

The city of Oregon City itself is split into an upper and lower portion by a rocky bluff.

Lower Oregon City is mostly commercial businesses, including the charming Main Street area which was given The Great American Main Street Award in 2018. Homes in this area and leading up the hill are predominantly historic homes including Victorians, Queen Annes, and bungalows.

The “top of the hill”, also known as upper Oregon City, includes a wide variety of homes. These home styles include one level ranch homes in older neighborhoods along with a bunch of new construction developments.

On the outskirts of town, luxury homes line a lake at Beaver Lake Estates and acreage properties lead out into the country.

With both the Clackamas River and the Willamette River running alongside the city, Oregon City offers plenty of outdoor activities including boating, fishing, rafting and walking trails.
