True Story of New Construction Home
My client was purchasing a new home, a custom home located in an HOA (home owner association.) The builder and buyer agreed that the builder had to obtain building permits PRIOR to the commencement of construction. He did not! He started to build without having obtained the HOA’s design review permit. As a result, the HOA did not approve the build and he needed to ADD more sq. footage to the lower level. He wanted my client to pay for. Needless to say, my client did not pay for that. Not under my watch!!
