Absolutely! We highly recommend working with a local reputable lender who can give you high level of customer service, communication and help you understand what your options are for financing.
In many cases an online lender or out of state lender is frowned upon by the listing agents when an offer is submitted. Always a good idea to work locally and we are happy to share some amazing lenders we work with consistently and who will provide the best rates and financing options.
Do I pay the buyer’s agent?
Nope! The simple answer is we get paid by a published commission in the Multiple listing service that is paid by the seller. So essentially getting your own representation does not cost you anything.
What kind of credit score do I need to have to get a loan?
In most cases a 620-credit score is enough to qualify for conventional financing. There are some other programs out there that will go less but to get the best interest rate and terms 620+ is safe.
How long does it take to buy a home?
Normal closing dates are 30 days from offer acceptance. Sometimes it can be up to 40-45 days, but if you are getting to finance the average time for a lender is 30 days.
